Luise von Finckh was born in Berlin, the daughter of a historian and a lawyer. From an early age, she displayed an irrepressible joy in performing. She gained her first experience in front of the camera as a young child, appearing in a number of television commercials. At the age of nine, Luise von Finckh was cast in one of the leading child roles in the musical Les Misérables at Berlin's Theater des Westens after a nationwide casting search.
